One thing about Music (here is where I tell you what I am listening to)

I have been listening to songs from my highschool days. I lived in Westerville, Ohio. A little suburbia on the northside of Columbus. There was a radio station called 104.9, The River and I tuned my alarm to wakeup to it. I would listen to worship songs from the time I woke up till I got to school. I was a highly sensitive teenager and I didn’t know how to channel it well. Worship music helped tremendously. I recently created a playlist called The River on Spotify that is creating a lot of nostalgic feelings in me.

What I am watching

I am watching Love Island like everyone and their mother. I don’t even have much to say about it. I have shared all my thoughts about it on threads. Honestly, watching shows and discussing it on threads has been so fun.

She Reads (what I am reading, visit my website for a through review)

I am currently reading The wedding people and In five years. Books I never would have picked up but this is my last month to use Kindle Unlimited for .99 cents. So you know what, I am going to read it and enjoy it.

What is the Lord saying?

What IS the Lord saying? I have been thinking about holiness and if it is attainable. Also trying to decipher between biblical holiness to what humans would deem as holy.

A break for a little heart to heart

This whole year has been about attempting to create new habits and stick to the habits. For the life of me, I cannot do so. I almost think I don’t want what I say I want bad enough, because, what is this behavior? I also think certain goals require months and months of consistency and I don’t think I do well with waiting. Waiting is so hard. I fear I am the person that always starts something and never finishes. I hate this not so quality about myself and it actually makes me weep. But I weep harder because I am not doing anything to change it.

Appearance Matters/Healthy Living

All the weight I lost at the beginning of the year, I have gained back so you know how I am doing on that end. I am officially on a weight loss journey.
