One of my favorite things to do in the “ber” months are visiting local bookstores. When I go to a bookstore, I pay attention to the layout. I observe how visible and accessible the books are. I look for hidden seating, cozy vibes, and now that I am a mommy, a child friendly place. I found all this at Neighbor Books, located in the suburbs of McKinney, Texas.

they did a good job with the highlighted books because I picked up a book immediately and purchased it. I picked up Jodi Picoult’s By Any Other Name.

The bookstore staff was extremely friendly and greeted us as soon as we enter. He shared a bit about his family with me and the books his little one was interested in.

I especially loved the top section of the bookstore. That was where the additional seating were.

Their children section was a bit minimal, but i found a few books for my little one.

Overall, the bookstore was so cute and although i spent less than an hour there, I would love to go and spend some quality time there.

anyways, that’s all.

do you like going to book stores? what do you look for at your favorite bookstore?
